District Youth Network is based at district Bahawalpur its mandate is to support youth from local communities and to champion youth development at large, also to be a key driving force in mainstreaming youth issues in the district Bahawalpur
District Youth Network general advocates for youth development at large it is the majority of the population of the district is youth and is the most vulnerable sector in society hence the triple crisis of poverty, unemployment and inequality affects the youth, however one of the focus of the District Youth Network is youth unemployment solution.
Objectives of the Youth Network
- To enhance youth participation in the context of participatory democracy and encourage youth participation in the economy.
- To promote social-cohesion amongst young people across all race.
- To develop strategic policies which will create youth employment and skills development to confront the future.
- To improve the state of education in the province and the in district ranging from general education, institution of higher learning and training with the view of improving the quality and pass rate ( by ensuring that the curriculum respond to the economic needs of the district).
- Develop strategic policy frame work that with accelerate youth development within the district.
